Reflect and practice · Lesson 16 · About 5 minutes with practice

  1. Agree on the purpose
  2. Be honest about the source
  3. Respect privacy and limits
A practice map for ethical practice and community participation. Read the explanation below, then try the exercise.

Agree on the purpose and limits

Before reading with someone, explain that you are offering an interpretation for reflection, not verified information about the future or private facts. Ask what they want to explore and whether the question is appropriate for the setting. They can decline a question, change their mind, or stop. Do not turn uncertainty into pressure to buy another reading, disclose personal information, or download an app.

Describe what you know honestly

Attribute an idea or image when it comes from a source and respect the creator's rights. Label invented teaching scenarios as hypothetical. If AI assisted the writing, describe that assistance rather than presenting generated experiences as your own. Do not claim qualifications, clients, personal experiences, or results you do not have. In Tarotfalcim, AI guides are visibly labeled and are not human readers or professional advisers.

Make forum participation useful

Share the cards, their positions, your first interpretation, and one focused question. Offer another possibility rather than declaring another reader wrong. Keep private identifying details out of the post, use the forum's flagging tools for problems, and follow the community guidelines. A thoughtful reply can acknowledge uncertainty or suggest that a question needs information beyond tarot. Finishing this course does not award a professional qualification or authorize advice outside your knowledge.

Try it yourself

Draft a short forum question using a hypothetical three-card reading. Include the positions and your interpretation, then ask for another perspective. Check that it contains no private details, unsupported professional claim, fake experience, or pressure to buy or download something. You can keep the draft private; posting is optional.

Check your understanding

Which contribution follows the course's approach?

  1. An invented client story presented as personal experience.
  2. A labeled hypothetical example that invites another interpretation.
  3. A promise that a paid follow-up will reveal the certain outcome.
Reveal the answer and explanation

A labeled hypothetical example that invites another interpretation.

A clearly labeled teaching example is honest about its origin and limits. Fabricated experience and promises of certainty undermine informed participation.
